INTRODUCTION
Cycling Canada and the City of Langford are proud to present the 2026 Langford Bikefest featuring the Pacific XC Canada Cup XCC/XCO powered by 94Forward. The Canada Cup XC Series is Canada’s premier national cross‑country mountain bike racing circuit, designed to bridge the gap between provincial racing and top‑level international competition. It brings together developing riders, elite athletes, and international racers across a series of UCI‑sanctioned events held nationwide.
The Langford Bikefest also features grass-roots mountain bike racing by hosting the first race of the Island Cup XC series. The Island Cup Series is a long‑running, community‑driven mountain bike race series on Vancouver Island, built around the idea that racing should be accessible, fun, and rooted in local trail culture.

XCC SHORT TRACK
MARCH 13, 2026
XCC races are shorter and faster than XCO, often held on a 1-2 km loop, with races lasting around 20-25 minutes. They are fun to watch with dynamic play-by-play race announcing and nail-biting finishes.
XCO OLYMPIC
MARCH 14, 2026
Cross-country Olympic is just that - mountain biking’s only Olympic format. A mass start pack races a set number of laps on a track that test their abilities to climb near vertical punches, before testing their descending skills on the way back down.
ISLAND CUP XC
MARCH 15, 2026
Formatted as a grassroots, community‑driven XC race designed for beginners through expert riders, with clear category progression. Categories are self-seeded ability based with the goal of having fun and developing skills.
